Karatas
Karatas is the literal Meranaw translation for “paper” and more appropriately for “documents”, is an online document ticketing system that caters the need of our university alumni or past students for a hassle-free, systematic, and efficient way of requesting pertinent authentic documents from MSU-Main Campus, Marawi City. Founded in 1961, the Mindanao State University (MSU) has been providing affordable yet quality education for the tri-people of Mindanao, particularly the MINSUPALA Region. The MSU Main Campus alone has been able to produce roughly 150,000 graduates as of year 2018. Notably, these MSU alumni have landed jobs and coveted positions across government and private sectors in their respective localities, in major cities, and in companies worldwide. In some occasions, the need for original copies of pertinent documents (e.g. Academic Evaluation Sheets, Official Transcript of Records (TOR), Diploma, Honorable Dismissal, CAVs, Yearbook, etc.) from their time in the University arises. This could be for reasons ranging from local or overseas employment applications, graduate studies requirements, job promotions, and/or personal record keeping. Nevertheless, it can be difficult for our alumni to come in Marawi City and personally process these documents, due to a number of considerations not limited to: (1) length of travel; (2) transportation expenses; (3) accommodation costs; (4) absence from work; (5) safety concerns; and (6) government restrictions for non-essential travels due to the COVID-19 pandemic. A usual approach to remedy the situation is by asking friends and acquaintances staying in or working on campus to accomplish the request and mailing of these documents. However, such is not available for everyone. This is where the Karatas document request system comes to play. With just a few steps in Karatas, your documents - done and delivered! Kandori
Kandori (Noun /kan ● do ● ri/) is the literal Meranaw translation for “feast” or “Thanksgiving”. It is an online restaurant portal service to properly address the need for new normal restaurant searching and ordering needs. ITSMarawi, in its pursuit to provide innovations in its surrounding community especially the MSMEs, developed a restaurant portal service that uses free online services (Such as www.foodbooking.com) to help the Restaurant Owners/MSMEs reduce their costs in their online ordering services. Other available online ordering apps charges the Restaurant Owners/MSMEs with high commissions. This in turn forces them to upgrade their pricing and thus charging the customers more than the food’s actual price. With Kandori, having a feast in the New Normal need not to be difficult and expensive. With Kandori: Good Food, Findin' Easy! Visit Kandori for more details.
